Nijanandacharya shri Devchandra Maharaj (1581-1655) was the founder of Shri Krishna Pranami Dharma. He was born to Matu Mehta and his wife Kunwarbai at Umarkot, Sindh. At an early age, he abandoned home, to go in search of the Lord. He reached Bhuj and Jamnagar where he started the listening Bhawat for 14 years. The Lord Krishna appeared before him and gave Tartam Mantra. Shri Devchandra started to spread the message of paramdham to the prople at large built Navtanpuri Dham, a pilgrim centre of pranami Dharma.
